City Splash

This example spash page features a sliding banner block (making use of the jQuery library), which works flawlessly with all major modern browsers (Internet Explorer 7, Safari and FireFox) and degrades gracefully with Internet Explorer 6.

The colouring changes based on the user's local time (changes at 5am, 12pm, 6pm and 9pm) using JavaScript and CSS.
